Get your squad together for Horrify: A Film Speed Run—a high-stakes race against the clock to create a horror short film in just 13 days!

Whether you’re a seasoned director or just grabbing your smartphone and a few brave friends, no experience or fancy equipment is needed. If you’ve got a phone and a killer idea, you’re ready to roll.

THE TWIST
At the kickoff event, you’ll choose your path:

Horrify a Classic: Draw a famous non-horror movie—like Titanic, Caddyshack, or The Wizard of Oz—and twist it into a terrifying masterpiece. Recreate an iconic scene, make a trailer, or invent a brand-new plot!

Found Footage: Receive specific mystery elements to incorporate into an original found-footage thriller.

Film Length: Under 10 minutes
Entry Fee: $50 per team
Final Turn-in: October 8
Screenings: Oct 10
